安灵 is a ritual for both Buddhist and Taoist. It is believed to be an act of filial piety by
the descendants of the deceased. 

Family members will have to offer food and joss sticks for their loved ones daily for the 49 days following the funeral. Families may also choose to 安灵 at temples for convenience.
